Description
Compatibility:
- Fits 2013-Present R1200GS and R1250/GSA/RT/RS liquid-cooled models with a 37.5 mm to 37.9 mm opening.
- Also fits RT keyless models with a 37.5 mm nozzle.
Specifications:
- Flange size: 40mm (compresses when installed)
- Neck size: 35mm
- Filter bag size: 8×8″
- Filter bag is centered on the nozzle.
Installation Instructions:
- Insert the Filter:
- Slip the filter down inside the gas tank filler nozzle.
- The three slots in the top of the filter flange compress to create a snug fit in the filler tube.
- You can often press it into place with your fingers. If not, use a socket slightly smaller than the gas tank filler tube to gently drive the filter flange into place with a few taps.
- Remove the Filter:
- Use the Guglatech install tool to hook the bottom of the flange and pull it upward.
Special Notes:
- If your bike has a metal filler funnel, order M06006.
- Some models may have a plastic adapter; simply pull it out of the neck and insert the filter.
- The special fuel neck prefilter is designed to be mounted inside the original fuel cap. Simply open the lid, insert the filter in the hole, and you’re done!
Benefits:
