Description

46th Annual Cascade Country Rendezvous and Adventure Rally
July 19-22 2018, Republic Washington

The Rally is over and it was a smashing success with 200 riders in attendance.  That’s a 46% increase over last year. We did some things right and we have some things that need improvement.  We handed out a questionnaire on Saturday evening and this is what you riders told us:

Come join the Washington State BMW Riders at their 46th annual Rally in Republic WA.

This is NOT just for BMW riders; it’s open to all brands, all sizes of bikes.

The Washington BMW Club hosts the Rally but they invite everyone to attend.

Cost is only $30 (pre-registered by July 14, $35 after that).  This gets you in the gate, gives you camping space, gives you a FREE spaghetti dinner Friday night, gives you access to all the seminars, and allows you to join the rides (pavement and off-road).  Registration opens in a few weeks.

For another $25 you can buy a ticket that’ll give you a catered steak or chicken or fish dinner Saturday night. (menu TBD)

The Rally is held at the Ferry County Fairgrounds, 2 miles EAST of Republic WA on US-20.  The fairgrounds has plenty of camping space, showers, presentation rooms, and other amenities that make the event a success.

Road Riders:  For road riders there’s group rides on the twisting highways in the area.  The scenery and the lack of traffic make this an ideal venue for street bikes.

Dual Sport/ Adventure:  For off-roaders and adventure riders there’s forest roads and GPS routes for you to follow.  We’ll post those routes in the coming months, and we’ll also be equipped to load them into your GPS at the Rally.  The routes will be graded difficulty, from novice to intermediate.  We’ll also have some single-track rides for the hard core guys.

We’ll have these activities at the Rally:
Seminars on GPS, tire repair, packing, first aid, and more
Beer garden (everybody’s favorite – wines and local microbrews)
World famous antique Merry-Go-Round in the Pavillion Fairgrounds
“Cheese Ride” to a local cheese producer – samples and lunch Cheese Ride

Download them, save them to your computer or smart phone, then load them onto your GPS as a “TRACK” in the .gpx files.
Then check your GPS Track Manager to make sure you can see them.
Click the box that makes the track visible on your screen.
Below are maps of each track.  We’ll have a limited number of copies at the rally, so we suggest you print them yourself.
