This filter is suggested for gravity-fed fueling (from a jerry can).  Filling from a high pressure fuel pump will be slow.  See red comments below.

If you have a screw type gas cap, the filter will fit directly below the cap.

The new filter combines the extra fast HDM3D filtering media with the installing-friendly drop-in adapter, filter has a huge filtering surface of almost 1200 square cm with welded edges combining a very fast refueling with optimal EFI fuel pump and fuel filter protection.

Note:  Due to the design of the rear gas tank, fuel must make a sharp turn as soon as it goes into the filler nozzle.  That sharp turn slows down the fueling process (even without a Guglatech filter).  Also, because some service stations pump their gas in a highly aerated (bubbly) fashion, those bubbles must pop as fuel is delivered to the tank.  Those bubbles slow down the fueling process.  Note that fuel coming from a jerry can will flow into the tank much more quickly than fuel from a service station.  Allow extra time for fueling if you install a Guglatech filter.

This filter will prevent the need to keep changing fuel pump filters.  The strainer at the base of the fuel pump is working at 60 microns and it’s useless to prevent damage to the fuel pump.  The OEM filter is really small and can clog very fast, plus the fuel pump is exposed to all kind of particles and water contamination. This prefilter will prevent fuel issues, saving the EFI system and preserving it for many tens of thousand of miles.

While prefiltering during refueling, you can easily clean fuel pump filters instead of continuously changing them to keep the motor running smoothly.

After mounting your bike will be protected from contaminated petrol, keeping the whole system in top condition.

The media is washable, and thanks to it’s huge surface, will last for many thousands of miles. You can extract it, empty it and wash it should the case arise.

Double-check your bike’s make, model, year, gas tank design, filler nozzle, etc. before ordering.
Take careful measurements of your filler nozzle and confirm for proper fitment. (see measurements of filter above).
If you order the wrong filter you’re responsible for any shipping fees needed to replace it with the proper filter, plus any price differences.
Filters that have been immersed in gas (or are not in like-new condition) are NOT eligible for return or refund.
