Fits 2013-22 R1200GS and R1250/GSA/RT/RS LIQUID COOLED with a 37.5 mm to – 37.9 mm opening
Also fits RT keyless 37.5mm nozzle
Flange size 40mm (compresses when installed)
Neck size 35mm
Filter bag size 8×8″
Filter bag is centered on the nozzle.
Installation note: This filter slips down inside the gas tank filler nozzle. Three slots in the top of the filter flange compress and create a snug fit in the filler tube. Often you can press it into place with your fingers, but if you can’t, select a socket that is slightly smaller then the gas tank filler tube. Use that as a tool to gently drive the filter flange into place. A few taps and it will slip down where it belongs. To remove the filter, use the Guglatech Install tool – hook the bottom of the flange and pull it upward. Easy peasy.

The special fuel neck prefilter is designed to be mounted inside the original fuel cap. To install simply open the lid, insert the filter in the hole, and you’re done! Installation instructions here: R12GS LC 13-16
It’s easy to insert and extract, no further modifications or mountings.
The HDM3D media filters down to 10 Microns, which will allow a very good protection of the fuel pump and main filter. WATER and other contaminants (liquid and solid) will be separated during refueling.
Some models may have a plastic adapter, simply pull it our of the neck and insert the filter.
Expedition media, XXL+ 1200 square cm of filtering surface, simply mounting and fast refueling, washable and long lasting.
The original BMW fuel filter system has a strainer working between 40 and 60 microns, made from nylon mesh, which is totally inadequate to protect the fuel pump.
This filtration level will both preserve the fuel pump and prolong fuel original filter life.
Double-check your bike’s make, model, year, gas tank design, filler nozzle, etc. before ordering.
Take careful measurements of your filler nozzle and confirm for proper fitment. (see measurements of filter above).
If you order the wrong filter you’re responsible for any shipping fees needed to replace it with the proper filter, plus any price differences.
Filters that have been immersed in gas (or are not in like-new condition) are NOT eligible for return or refund.
