California Proposition 65
California mandates that all products sold within the state that may contain potentially hazardous materials must bear a warning label: “Warning: Cancer and Reproductive Harm – www.P65Warnings.ca.gov. This warning aims to protect California residents from exposure to potentially harmful chemicals or other materials.

Our products are intended for their specified uses, and deviating from them may cause harm. Additionally, to ensure safety, children should not handle these products.
BestRest will affix a Prop 65 compliance warning sticker to all affected products. The presence of this sticker indicates that the product may contain small amounts of chemicals or components that could be harmful. These substances may include, but are not limited to:
- Lubricants such as motor oil and soap-based products
- Dyes, including hair dye, vegetable-based dye, and alcohol-based dye
- PVC plastic is used for coating electrical wires
- Soldered connections which may contain lead, tin, antimony, or other heavy metals
- Cloth with PVC waterproofing coating or ink-based silkscreen logos
- Nylon threads used in sewing cloth
- Synthetic materials in rope manufacturing
- Adhesives such as thread-locking agents (e.g., Loctite)
- Synthetic rubber in rubber bumpers and end caps
- Cardboard boxes glued with mineral-based adhesives
- Packing tape with a PVC front surface and chemically bonding adhesive backing
- Synthetic woven air filters and filter components
- Laser-printed instruction sheets using carbon-based toner cartridges
- Folding chairs with nylon seats and plastic fittings
- Plastic bags used for packaging
Please be advised that all of our products, including but not limited to CyclePump, EZAir Gauges, TireIron BeadBrakR, and the tire mounting lube known as “BeadGoop,” may cause health concerns if improperly managed or operated. This includes both the entire product and its components. We advise against direct skin contact with our products to avoid potential chemical absorption.
Recent changes to Proposition 65 regulations include the requirement that short-form warnings be prominently displayed and include at least one specific chemical for which the warning is being provided. Additionally, internet and catalog sales must include these warnings both online and with the delivered product. The implementation period for these changes has been extended to three years, with a 60-day grace period for updating online warnings once a notice is received.
