 Tire Iron BeadBrakR
What if you could carry a bead breaker with you on the bike, one that could incorporate a set of tire irons into the breaker itself? Why not make a compact, collapsible, purpose-built device designed for the solo adventure rider? Great idea, right?
We thought it was so we went to the drawing board and made a better mouse trap! The design had to be small, lightweight, sturdy, multi-functional, and it had to be something you could easily carry on your bike. It took almost 2 years before we came up with the answer…
The BeadBrakR is a levering device that incorporates a trio of tire irons into the actual mechanical design. When the bead is free you break down the device and use those same tire irons to remove the tire from the rim. What could be more simple, more efficient, more utilitarian?
Compact, lightweight, and easy to assemble using quick release ring pins, the entire kit fits in your hand and rolls up nicely in the storage pouch. Overall size of the BeadBrakR and all the accessories is just 2” thick x 5.5” wide x 12” long.

To understand how it works, the left tire iron fits vertically upward thru the spokes. The tire rests on the lower horizontal tire iron, with the hub to the left. Brilliantly simple but amazingly effective, downward force at the end of the lever forces the plunger onto the tire sidewall, breaking the bead.

We've tested the BeadBrakR on a variety of tires and rims, including big bore BMW R1150GS and R1200GS, KTM's with their double-locking rims, and other brands of motorcycle rims and tires. The Tire Iron BeadBrakR easily performed the job, quickly breaking the bead and demounting the tire.
The BeadBrakR is Patent Pending.

 BeadGoop
BeadGoop is a tire mounting/demounting lubricant specially formulated for motorcycle applications. The key to an easy tire change is to use plenty of lube!
Slippery when wet, it makes tire changing easy. Sticky when dry, it glues the sidewall and bead to the rim & prevents tire spin during braking or acceleration. Unlike field expedient tire lubes such as dish soap, shampoo, hand creme, WD40, etc. BeadGoop is designed for use with alloy rims and rubber tires.
The convenient 2 ounce bottle has a small squirt tube on top so you can direct the solution exactly where you want it. It can be used full strength or diluted with water; there's enough for 3 or 4 tires depending on how generously you apply the solution. This is the same solution that comes with every TireIron BeadBrakR.
2-ounce bottle $7.00. Click HERE for 2-oz. Bead Goop details
BeadGoop is also available in an economical 16-ounce refill bottle, click HERE for details
16-ounce refill $25.00

 Valve Stem Multi Tool
The Valve Stem Multi-Tool performs 4 separate functions:
1. It tightens or removes valve stem cores - the T-handle portion has one end that fits over the valve stem and works as a valve stem wrench
2. It deflates tire when screwed onto the valve stem - the T-handle portion has another end that will deflate the tire when screws onto the valve stem
3. It fishes tubed tire valve stems back thru the hole in the rim - just slip the long end thru the hole in the rim, thread it onto the end of the valve stem, and pull the tube into place. Note: check the size of the hole in your rim - it must be at least 7/16" diameter for the head of the tool to fit thru the hole.
4. It seats valve stems on tubeless tire - slip the long end thru the rim, thread on a new tubeless valve stem, and pull the stem thru the rim to seat the stem
This is one of the handiest tire tricks we own! It's the same tool that comes with every BeadBrakR. $10.00

 EZ Air Tire Gauge
It's a perfect companion to the CyclePump inflator!
Our CyclePump EZ-Air Tire Gauge clips onto any tire valve stem and gives instant, accurate pressure readings up to 100 PSI. The self-locking brass air chuck makes a positive seal and prevents air loss during the inflation or deflation process.
If your tire pressure is too high, you can release air by pressing the bleed button on the top of the gauge.
If your tire pressure is too low, simply attach a CyclePump (or other compressor) to the brass valve stem on the side of the gauge. The gauge instantly converts to an in-line gauge! The 1-1/2" dial displays real-time pressure as the tire inflates. Overfill the tire over by a few pounds, and use the bleed button to adjust the pressure to your exact requirements. It makes tire pressure management so easy and quick you'll wonder why someone didn't think of this sooner!
This is the only in-line analogue dial gauge to receive a "Recommended" rating from Motorcycle Consumer News in their November 2005 tire pressure gauge shootout. We think that's pretty cool!

 DonorHose
The DonorHose is an air hose designed to transfer or "donate" air pressure from an inflated tire to a flat or low tire. Using the DonorHose you can transfer enough air from one tire to another so that you can limp back to civilization. It's always better to ride to the nearest service station on two half-inflated tires than to push it home on one fully inflated tire, or to call a service truck.
The DonorHose is also useful for seating beads on tubeless tires. The rapid transfer of air from a fully charged tire will seat the bead on the tubeless tire. If you have a CyclePump you can overfill the donor tire and this gives you several chances to achieve a properly seated tire bead. Once the bead is seated, use the CyclePump to fully inflate the tire.
The DonorHose is 5 ft. long air hose with brass air chucks on both ends. The hose has a braided exterior for strength and durability. The braid may have minor manufacturing defects (occasional errant threads) but this is only a cosmetic blemish and does not affect performance or function.
Here's a tip we learned the hard way - if you're miles from town and you need a siphon hose to transfer gas, you can cut off the air chucks and the DonorHose will serve as an emergency fuel transfer system. (It sure beats walking 12 miles to the next fuel stop) If you don't want to cut off the chucks, they can be unscrewed in the middle (removing the locking chuck and leaving the brass fitting) and you can still siphon past the fittings.
You can order the DonorHose online - click here for the order page and look near the top for part number DH. Price is $20.00
If you receive Motorcycle Consumer News, you can read about the DonorHose in their October 2005 issue.
